Laughing Kids

We are currently proud to offer,

         Face-to-face, all inclusive, free after school programs for ages 6-13 (children attending kindergarten will be admitted based on head office permission on a trial basis at the Black River/St. Bernadette’s program) at the following locations:

  • Deer Park Public School, Keswick - Licensed Before & After Care for Kindergarten as of September 2023
  • Keswick Public School, Keswick
  • Black River Public School/St. Bernadette's Catholic School, Sutton (serving all three schools in Sutton - walking program)
  • Morning Glory Public School, Pefferlaw - Licensed Before & After Care for Kindergarten as of September 2023

      In September 2020 we opened the doors to our first licensed before & after child care at:

  • Fairwood Public School
  • Jersey Public School

      In the summer we have day camps offered in Keswick, Sutton and on Georgina Island (partnership with the Chippewas of Georgina Island). PA Day, Winter and March Break Camps are only available at our licensed child cares.

Recreational and skill-building organization

Jericho is an authorized recreational and skill-building organization, and as such, our qualified and trained staff will ensure your child will always participate in safe, supervised and appropriate activities when they come to us for before and after school care. We believe strongly in giving your child the tools they need to enhance their self-confidence:

  • Valid Standard First-aid certificate
  • Valid CPR certificate Level C
  • High Five Healthy Principals of Child Development
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Check for staff and volunteers aged 19 and older

We offer ongoing professional development and do an annual policy review.

Throughout the year we mentor high school volunteers (needing to fulfil their community service requirement to graduate), leaders-in-training, mature volunteers, college and university interns and high school co-op students as part of our Youth Leadership Development.

After School Programs

For ages 6-13, Monday-Friday, homework help, healthy snacks, outdoor and indoor play, arts and crafts, science, community building, health and wellness, literacy activities, and child-led play. No Cost but a donation is appreciated.

Child Care Before & After

For ages 4-12, Monday-Friday, breakfast and afternoon snacks, outdoor and indoor play, arts and crafts, science, community building, health and wellness, literacy activities, and child-led play. Subsidy through the Region available for those who qualify. CWELCC approved.

Summer Camp

For ages 6-13, 8:30am-4:30pm, at Lake Simcoe PS, Keswick, Sutton PS in Sutton and Georgina Island for residents. Fun filled Day Camp with great activities such as circle games, crafts, sports, outdoor activities, camp t-shirt and more plus an awesome weekly special event or trip. Cost $140/week early bird by May 31, $160/week after.

Recreation, Power of Play

For ages 6-13, 6:30-8:00pm Jersey P.S. For DodgeBall lovers! All types of dodgeball games with special guests and community teams joining in. No Cost but a donation is appreciated.
