Our Partners
Jericho Youth Services would not be possible without the support of our funders and community partners. We know that without these partnerships we would not be able to continue working toward our mission to develop and empower our youth to become engaged and caring citizens in their community.
is our longest funding partner. United Way has been a funder for Jericho since 1986. Throughout this time we have been able to serve many children and youth and supporting their families. Currently United Way contributes to our After School program at Keswick Public School as well as our Youth Leadership and Development Program.
is our newest funder, and has been contributing to our success since March 2019. As a result, they have been able to add to our reach within Georgina. The Town of Georgina currently funds our Black River and part of our Morning Glory After School program .
is our Government funding partner. The mandate of the Ministry to assist us in promoting an active lifestyle and participation in sport and recreation and physical activities. Ontario Ministry of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries funds our Deer Park After School program and is a contributing funder to our Morning Glory After School Program.
Jericho is fortunate to be included as one of the 45 local charities to receive proceeds from the Newmarket Charitable and Gaming Association, since 2018. They are open 7 days a week with multiple sessions each day. They also have video machines called TapTix to enhance the experience. Jericho provides volunteers 3-4 times a month on Sundays 11am – 1pm, and if you are 18 years or older, enjoy bingo and interested in volunteering, please contact us at info@jerichoys.org
Provides access to arts, culture, sport and recreation for children who otherwise do not have the opportunity. During non-Covid times, Kids Up Front have been providing tickets for Summer Camp participants to visit the ROM, AGO and Ontario Science Centre to name a few. Families have also been given tickets to sporting events such as the Toronto Raptors, Toronto Marlies and Toronto FC.
We are a member of the Georgina Chamber of Commerce and we use their resources for community development, information and activities.
is granting us through their mandate to end hunger in every community, as there is no invisible line marking the boundaries of need. Hunger has not one face, but multiple. Mazon’s contribution goes towards healthy snacks at all our programs.
